I hope that I am reading the correct article. It is very short.
For the first time in my academic career I was unable to access the
EBSCO website through the library portal.
This is the link that I found the article at:
https://hbr.org/2015/06/you-need-an-innovation-strategy
and it is very short.
I was not surprised by anything in the reading and nothing stood
out as different to my exceptions. However, innovation strategy in
today's large company's often comes from the top corporate official
as a goal for the employees to accomplish. As compared to a small
entrepreneurial organization that is looking to fill a customers need
in order to make a profit.
None of the reading was confusing to me.
One question that I would like to ask is what do you attribute the
success of most modern large company's innovative success to? And,
how is this success accomplished?
I did not find anything in the reading that I thought that the
author was wrong about. I have no disagreements with the author's
opinion.
